How it works and how to install
Connect one end of the cable to the main unit (master) and the other end to the secondary unit (remote), then turn on the device with the ON/OFF button. The numbered LEDs light up sequentially for each functional wire — if an LED does not light up, the corresponding wire is broken or faulty. In the event of a short circuit between wires, no LED lights up, a clear sign of an unwanted contact.

Yes, any UTP or FTP cable with an 8-wire RJ45 connector is compatible, including Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a.
