How it works and how to install
The fuse contains a calibrated metal filament that melts instantly when the electrical current exceeds 15A, interrupting the circuit and protecting the device. Installation is simple: disconnect the device from the mains, replace the blown fuse with a new one of the same amperage, then reconnect. Important: always use fuses with the amperage recommended by the device manufacturer — a higher amperage cancels protection, a lower one will blow frequently.
Frequently asked questions
What devices can I use these 15A fuses for?
They are compatible with power supplies, stabilizers, televisions, transformers, microwave ovens, audio equipment, and any equipment that requires a 6x25mm fuse with a nominal current of 15A at 250V.
How do I know if the fuse has blown?
Visually, through the translucent ceramic body, the broken filament can be seen. If the device does not start and the fuse appears internally broken, it must be replaced.
Can I use a higher amperage fuse if it blows frequently?
We do not recommend it — if the fuse blows frequently, the device has a problem and should be checked by a technician. Using a higher amperage can damage the device or cause a fire.
