How it works and how to install it
The LAD1-C40 arrester connects in parallel on the DC line between the panels and the inverter, mounting on the DIN rail in the photovoltaic system's distribution panel. When a voltage peak occurs, the device diverts the surge current to the ground, protecting the connected equipment. Installation is performed by an authorized electrician within the solar installation's DC panel, without special tools, by simply fixing it to the rail and connecting the cables to the DC+ and DC- terminals.
