How it works and how to install it
The button has momentary operation: you press it, the contact closes, you release it, the contact automatically opens via an internal spring. For installation, drill a 16mm hole in the control panel, insert the button from the front and secure it by pressing — the metal housing locks itself. Connect the two rear pins to the desired electrical circuit, observing the polarity and the maximum capacity of 3A at 220V.
Frequently asked questions
What does non-latching mean and how does it work in practice?
Non-latching means the button does not stay pressed — you hold it with your finger for as long as you want the circuit to be closed, and when you release it, it returns to its normal position by itself and the circuit opens.
Can I directly connect a 500W load to this button?
Yes, the button supports 3A at 220V, which means approximately 660W maximum capacity. For safety, keep a margin and do not exceed 500W in continuous applications.
Can it be mounted on thin metal panels?
Yes, the button is secured by SnapIn and works on panels with a thickness between 1-3mm. For thicker panels, check the length of the rear thread before mounting.
