220V Thermal Protection with Reset for Motors and Pumps
This thermal fuse with manual reset effectively protects electric motors and water pumps against overload and overheating. With an 8A capacity at 125/250V AC, simple installation by direct connection into the electrical circuit, and manual reset by pressing the red button.
What you get with this product
- Automatic protection of motors against overload — trips instantly when the current threshold is exceeded
- Quick reset without replacement — manual red button allows re-operation after cooling
- Universal compatibility — works at 125V or 250V AC, ideal for water pumps and small motors
- Direct circuit mounting — screw terminals for secure connection, without complicated wiring
- High temperature resistant construction — heat-resistant plastic and metal body, contact resistance under 40m Ohm
- Compact dimensions — 28.5 x 46.5 x 13.5 mm, easily integrated into confined spaces
How it works and how to install it
The thermal protection is installed in series with the motor or pump, on the power supply circuit. When the current exceeds 8A or the temperature rises excessively, the bimetallic mechanism inside automatically interrupts the circuit. After cooling, press the red button for manual reset and the equipment returns to normal. Connections are made via screw terminals, without welding or special tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
