How it works and how to install
The 8P8C UTP outlet is surface-mounted on a wall or any flat surface using the included screw or double-sided adhesive tape. The UTP or FTP cable is fed through the opening in the base of the casing, and each conductor is secured to the connection lugs by tightening with a screwdriver — no soldering or crimping tools are required. After securing the cover, the RJ45 plug of the network equipment is inserted directly into the front connector of the outlet.
