How it works and how to install
The VC61A multimeter works by selecting the desired parameter with the central rotary knob and connecting the test leads to the measurement points. To use, insert the included 9V battery into the compartment on the back, select the desired function on the dial, connect the black and red leads to the COM and VΩ+ terminals, and then to the circuit to be tested. The 1999-count LCD display automatically updates values 2.5 times per second. The Auto Power Off function saves battery life, and the HOLD button freezes the last read value for easy notation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can it measure 220V outlet voltage?
Yes, the multimeter measures AC voltage up to 700V and DC up to 1000V, including standard 220V outlets safely, with overload protection.
What battery does it use and how long does it last?
It uses a 9V battery included in the package. Battery life is hundreds of hours due to the Auto Power Off function which automatically shuts down the device after inactivity.
Can it test batteries and capacitors?
Yes, it measures DC voltage for batteries and capacitance from 2nF to 200μF for capacitors, ideal for complete electronic circuit troubleshooting.
