How it works and how to install
The multimeter works by connecting the red and black test leads to the device's terminals and to the circuit to be measured. You select the desired function by rotating the central switch to the required measurement range: DCV for direct current voltage, ACV for alternating current voltage, DCA for direct current, or OHM for resistance. The indicator needle on the analog dial immediately displays the measured value on the corresponding scale. No installation required, it's ready to use out of the box.
