The signal and ground wires are soldered to the 4 terminals on the back of the connector, following the standard XLR diagram (pin 1 ground, pin 2 positive signal, pin 3 negative signal). Once mounted, it accepts any standard XLR male plug, and the PUSH button allows safe disconnection without force.
