How it works and how to install it
The controller connects between the DC power source and the 4-contact RGB LED strip: the female DC jack takes power from the adapter, and the output terminals are fixed directly to the LED strip's pins. Yes, the controller accepts voltages between 5V and 24V DC, so it is compatible with standard 12V and 24V strips, as well as those powered at 5V via USB with a DC adapter.
Can I use this controller with a white LED strip, not RGB?
No, this controller is designed exclusively for 4-contact RGB LED strips (R, G, B + common). It is not compatible with monochrome or RGBW strips.
What is the maximum length of LED strip it can control?
The controller supports RGB LED strips within the maximum allowed current at the used supply voltage; for applications longer than 5 meters, it is recommended to check the strip's consumption against the power supply's capacity.
