Compact Monochrome LED Strip Signal Amplifier with Wires
The monochrome LED mini-amplifier extends the control signal of single-color LED strips, allowing the connection of additional segments without loss of brightness or synchronization. Its small dimensions — 42 x 12 x 3 mm — make it easy to integrate directly onto the LED strip, in narrow spaces, or hidden installations. Compatible with voltages from 5V to 24V, it fits most existing monochrome LED lighting systems.
What you get with this product
- Installation extension without intensity loss — the amplifier regenerates the PWM signal and maintains constant brightness throughout the strip's length
- Wide 5V–24V compatibility — works with most power supplies and monochrome LED strips on the market
- Scalable output power — up to 144W at 12V and 288W at 24V, sufficient for large installations
- Simple installation via direct wire connection — the 6 connection wires allow quick integration without special connectors
- Ultra-compact size — the 42 x 12 x 3 mm plastic body easily hides in LED profiles or behind decorative panels
- Reliable operation between -20°C and +60°C — suitable for both indoor spaces and environments with moderate thermal variations
How it works and how to install
The amplifier takes the PWM signal from the existing controller or dimmer and retransmits it to the next LED strip segment, maintaining synchronized dimming or on/off effects throughout the entire installation. Connection is made via the 6 wires — 2 for signal input, 2 for direct power from the source, and 2 for output to the next strip. No special tools are required; a small screwdriver or wire cutters are sufficient for securing the wires.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this amplifier also work with RGB or RGBW LED strips?
No, the amplifier is designed exclusively for single-color monochrome LED strips. For RGB or RGBW strips, a dedicated multi-channel amplifier is required.
How many amplifiers do I need for a 10-meter installation?
It depends on the power consumption of the LED strip used. Calculate the total consumption of the segment following the amplifier and ensure it does not exceed 6A maximum current per amplifier.
Does the amplifier retain the dimming effect set by the remote control?
Yes, the amplifier faithfully retransmits the PWM signal, including dimming levels, so all strip segments will react identically to the main controller's commands.
