Micro-limit switch with rod for precise automation control
This limit switch with a rod and roller provides reliable control for automation systems, machine tools, and access systems. Its compact dimensions of 13x13x6mm allow for discreet mounting in small spaces, and mechanical push activation ensures precise detection without complex electronic components. Ideal for automatic doors, blinds, milling machines, lathes, or any application requiring stopping at a pre-established position.
What you get with this product
- Quick installation in any automation system — compact dimensions 13x13x6mm, mounted by soldering or screws
- High durability in industrial conditions — flame-retardant ABS housing and wear-resistant metal components
- Precise contact detection — 12mm roller rod activates the circuit immediately upon touch, without delay
- Universal compatibility — operates with 125V AC and 3A, suitable for most home and industrial systems
- Operational safety — reliable on-off contact prevents overheating or mechanism jamming
- Affordable price for professional automation — economical solution without compromising quality
How it works and how to install it
The limit switch is mounted firmly on the equipment structure, and the rod with the roller is positioned in the path of the moving element. Upon contact, the roller presses the rod, interrupting or activating the electrical circuit. Installation is done by mechanical or adhesive fixing, electrical connection only requires connecting the three terminals according to the diagram in the equipment manual. No special calibration is needed — physical positioning determines the actuation point.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it also work with DC voltage or only with 125V AC?
The 125V AC specification indicates the maximum recommended voltage. For DC voltage, check compatibility with your automation's technical data or contact us for consultation.
How much must the rod be pressed to activate the contact?
The actuation travel is approximately 1-2mm. The rod with the roller allows for light contact detection, without requiring strong pressure.
Can I use this limit switch for heavy garage doors?
Yes, if the control circuit current does not exceed 3A and the voltage is 125V AC. The limit switch detects position; it does not support the mechanical weight of the door.
