How it works and how to install it
The 3W RGB COB LED chip has three separate anodes for red, green, and blue, and a common cathode, with connections made by soldering or clamps on the marked pads on the metal base. For proper operation, a constant voltage power supply suitable for each channel and a heat sink applied to the back of the aluminum base, secured with thermal paste, are required. Prolonged operation without a heat sink is not recommended, as excessive temperature can damage the chip.
