How it works and how to install it
The COB LED chip is powered by 45V DC with a current of 300mA via a compatible LED driver — the positive and negative connections are marked in opposite corners of the aluminum support. Mounting is done on a passive or active heatsink, obligatorily using thermal paste, to ensure the dissipation of heat generated at high power. It does not require additional soldering on the circuit; the power contacts can be connected directly via wires or specific terminals.

Do I need a special driver for this 15W COB LED chip?
Yes, the chip requires an LED driver that supplies 45V DC at 300mA. A standard 12V or 24V constant voltage driver is not compatible with this model.
Does it get very hot during operation — is this normal?
Yes, at 15W, any COB LED chip generates significant heat. Mounting on an aluminum heatsink with thermal paste is mandatory for correct operation and normal lifespan of the component.
Can this chip be used outdoors or in humid environments?
