The flashlight is turned on and switched between modes by the push button on the side: one press activates the XPE LED at maximum power, subsequent presses cycle through strong COB mode, low COB mode, and UV 395nm. No installation required — take it out of the box, charge it via the included micro-USB cable until the indicator signals full charge, then use it immediately.
