How it works and how to install it
The circuit breaker is mounted in the electrical panel on a DIN rail or fixed with screws, connecting the input and output cables to the upper and lower terminals. When the nominal current of 30A is exceeded or in case of a short circuit, the electromagnetic mechanism automatically trips, interrupting the circuit. Resetting is done manually by returning the lever to the ON position after eliminating the cause of the fault. Functionality is periodically tested by pressing the red Push-to-Trip button.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can it protect single-phase 220V circuits or only three-phase?
This circuit breaker works on both single-phase 220V and three-phase installations up to 600V AC, being versatile for domestic and industrial use.
What happens if it exceeds 30A for a short time several times?
With repeated overloads below 50A, the circuit breaker does not trip immediately but accumulates heat; at over 50A or short circuit, the protection intervenes instantly for installation safety.
Can it reset automatically or does it require manual resetting?
Resetting is exclusively manual by raising the lever to the ON position, thus checking the cause of the fault before restarting.
