How it works and how to install it
The switch has a rotary mechanism with two fixed positions: ON connects the electrical circuit, OFF completely breaks it. The internal terminals allow connecting power and control cables to contactors or motor starters. Installation is done by fixing it to the wall with screws, and cables enter through sealed cable glands at the base of the enclosure. Connect the phase and neutral according to the standard diagram, then check the operation through successive switching.

Can I use the switch outdoors, on a wall exposed to rain?
Yes, IP65 protection ensures resistance to strong water splashes and dust. Make sure the cable glands are properly sealed.
Can it be connected directly to a 5.5kW three-phase motor?
The switch controls the contactor or electromagnetic starter that starts the motor; it does not connect directly to the motor. The 40A capacity is sufficient for controlling these devices.
How hard is it to turn the switch?
The mechanism requires a medium force, firm enough to prevent accidental switching, but easy to operate manually or with gloves.
