How it works and how to install it
The switch has three terminals: 1 common, 2 normally closed, and 3 normally open. You choose the desired contact type by connecting the wires to the corresponding terminals. When the metal rod is pressed, the contact changes — it opens the circuit at NC or closes it at NO. Installation is done by fixing the body with screws and connecting the electrical cables to the indicated terminals. No special tools are required, just a standard screwdriver.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this switch at 12V for LED lighting?
Yes, it works perfectly at low voltages of 12V or 24V DC up to 0.3A, ideal for LED strips or ambient lighting systems.
What is the difference between normally closed and normally open contact?
Normally closed maintains the circuit connected until the rod is pressed, at which point it breaks. Normally open works the other way around — the circuit connects only when the rod is pressed.
How much does the rod need to be pressed to trigger the switch?
The 27mm rod requires a minimum press of a few millimeters for reliable triggering, offering precision without being overly sensitive.
