How it works and how to install it
The LED strip connector works using a clip system: open the connector cap, insert the end of the LED strip into the 10 mm slot until it stops, then press the cap until you hear a click — the electrical contact is automatically made by the internal metal pins. Do the same at the other end with the second strip. No wire stripping or tools are required — the entire operation takes less than a minute per end.
Frequently asked questions
Does it also work with RGB LED strips or only with monochrome strips?
This connector has 2 pins and is exclusively compatible with monochrome LED strips (single color or white). For RGB or RGBW strips, 4 or 5-pin connectors are required.
What width should the LED strip be to fit this connector?
The connector is designed for 10 mm wide LED strips, the most commonly used size for SMD 5050 and SMD 2835 monochrome strips.
How long is the cable between the two ends of the connector?
The cable length between the two connectors is 15 cm, sufficient to go around a corner, an opening in furniture, or an area without a strip.
