The clock is powered by plugging it into an outlet via the included 5V power adapter or via a USB cable to the DC 2.1mm jack. All functions are adjusted via the remote control: you set the time in 12h or 24h format, configure the alarm with one of the 2 available melodies, and start the ascending or descending timer. Installation is simple: place it on a flat surface or fix it to the wall using the holes in the back, connect it to power, and program it in under 5 minutes.
