How it works and how to install
The COB LED strip is powered by 12V DC through the two contact pads marked with plus and minus, visible on the aluminum substrate. Installation is done by mechanical fastening with screws in the holes provided at the ends of the bar, without the need for a special housing. For optimal lifespan, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of thermal paste between the substrate and the mounting surface, as well as to use a transformer with 30-40% more power than the nominal consumption of the bars.

Does it need a separate LED driver or does it connect directly to 12V?
The strip is powered directly by 12V DC, without an additional driver, but a power supply sized 30-40% above the consumed power is recommended for stable operation.
Is thermal paste required for mounting?
Yes, applying thermal paste between the substrate and the mounting surface is recommended to ensure heat transfer and prevent overheating of the COB chip.
Can the green COB LED strip be used in a car or outdoors?
The strip is compatible with 12V DC automotive applications, but it does not have a declared IP protection rating, therefore for outdoor use, additional protection against moisture and dust is required.
