How it works and how to install it
Screw the adapter into the E27 light fixture, just like a normal bulb. Then screw the E40 base bulb into the top of the adapter. The electrical contact is made automatically through the internal metal thread. The entire operation takes less than a minute and only requires power interruption for safety.
