360° Microwave Sensor for Efficient Automatic Lighting
This microwave motion sensor accurately detects presence in a 360-degree radius and operates lighting up to 1200W without manual intervention. It functions by emitting 5.8 GHz electromagnetic waves, ensuring reliable detection even through glass or thin walls. Ideal for hallways, stairwells, garages, and commercial spaces where you desire comfort and energy savings.
What you get with this product
- Complete 360-degree circular detection, no blind spots — cover the entire room with a single device
- Adjustable detection range between 1 and 8 meters, customize coverage exactly for your space
- Works through materials — detects motion even through glass, doors, or thin walls, unlike classic infrared sensors
- Full control of brightness and time — adjust the activation threshold between 2-2000 LUX and the delay time from 8 seconds to 12 minutes
- Supports loads up to 1200W resistive or 600W inductive — compatible with most LED lighting systems, classic bulbs, and fluorescent tubes
- Own consumption of only 0.9W — operates efficiently without adding significant costs to your bill
How it works and how to install it
The sensor continuously emits high-frequency electromagnetic waves on the 5.8 GHz band and analyzes the received echoes. When it detects a change in the reflection pattern caused by motion, it activates the lighting according to the programmed settings. Installation requires connection to the 220-240V AC mains, following the provided wiring diagram: L and N wires connect to the power supply, and the load connects to the dedicated terminals. The three potentiometers on the casing allow fine adjustment of the detection distance, delay time, and brightness threshold.
Frequently asked questions
Can it detect motion through walls or doors?
Yes, microwave technology allows detection through glass, doors, and thin walls, unlike infrared sensors which require direct visual contact.
How large can the load connected to the sensor be?
The sensor supports a maximum of 1200W for resistive loads such as classic bulbs or LEDs, and up to 600W for inductive loads such as fluorescent tubes or transformers.
How do you adjust the sensitivity and lighting duration?
Using the three potentiometers on the casing: one adjusts the detection distance from 1 to 8 meters, another sets the delay time between 8 seconds and 12 minutes, and the third controls the brightness threshold from 2 to 2000 LUX.
